What services does iCare Health Solutions provide?
iCare provides personalized in-home care for children, adults, and seniors throughout Northern and Central Virginia. Services include Skilled Nursing, Private Duty Nursing, Personal Care, Companion Care, Respite Care, In-Home Support Services, and Caregiver Support.
How do I know what type of care my loved one needs?
We begin with a face-to-face assessment to understand your loved one’s medical, personal, functional, and safety needs. Based on the assessment and applicable requirements, we help determine the appropriate services and develop an individualized care plan.
Can iCare care for children and individuals with complex medical needs?
Yes. Our skilled nursing and Private Duty Nursing services support pediatric, adult, and medically complex clients who require ongoing nursing care at home. We tailor care to the client’s condition, needs, routines, and family circumstances.
Will my loved one have a consistent caregiver or nurse?
We understand the importance of familiarity and consistency. We make every reasonable effort to provide reliable, appropriately qualified caregivers and maintain continuity of care whenever possible.
What happens if my caregiver calls out?
We work promptly to identify an appropriately qualified replacement and minimize interruptions in care. Our team communicates with families regarding significant staffing changes and continues working to maintain dependable coverage.
Does iCare accept Medicaid, insurance, or private pay?
Yes. We accept Medicaid for eligible and authorized services, offer private-pay options, and work with select Commercial insurance plans. Coverage depends on the client’s eligibility, authorization, plan, and services required.
Can my family participate in the care plan?
Absolutely. We believe families are essential partners in care. We listen to their concerns, preferences, and knowledge of the client and encourage appropriate involvement in care planning and communication.
What happens if my loved one's condition changes or there is an emergency?
Client safety comes first. Our caregivers follow the individualized care plan and emergency procedures, notify appropriate parties, and seek emergency assistance when necessary. We communicate changes in condition so appropriate action can be taken.
How does iCare ensure quality and safe care?
We use supervision, staff training, care-plan monitoring, documentation review, client feedback, incident reporting, and quality improvement activities to promote safe, effective care. iCare is Virginia-licensed, DMAS-certified, and CHAP-accredited.
What makes iCare different from other home healthcare providers?
iCare believes care should be built around the individual—not the other way around. We combine compassion, personalization, professionalism, family involvement, safety, reliability, and a commitment to independence to provide care that fits each client’s unique needs.
